Reviwe Green Star Elite 5000 Juicer By Adam Singer : We are penning this because I’d Much difficulty finding higher than a couple of testimonials online when trying to discover a Green Star Elite 5000 Juicer.Our kids may be juicing for years now with a popular-brand centrifugal juicer. My stepdad was diagnosed with cancer and now we started researching the Gerson Therapy. This juicer is just not suited to the Gerson Therapy, but their system is so complicated and expensive we decided to compromise. We selected a twin-gear as it’s a much better juicer than the usual centrifugal however it is not nearly as much trouble as being a 2-stage press system.

Anyway, we like to it. We estimate we’re getting double juice per-veggie than we did with all the centrifugal juicer. We juice no less than 4x each week (for 3 people) so we’re thinking the cost difference will be paid in a year just in the savings on produce.

Additionally it is better to clean than our old one. The toughest part to scrub may be the mesh screen… they have some tight corners how the pulp really gets jammed into, but after cleaning it a few times it gets considerably quicker. The rest of the parts are easy.

I have never experienced some of the design flaws that the other reviewer mentioned. I mention that review specifically because it almost talked me beyond getting this juicer, but I’m glad I decided to go ahead anyway. No juice has leaked out in a weird areas. The one area of the safety hood on mine that got dirty was the very best tray throughout the feed chute, that’s easily rinsed off. Some pulp enters the spot immediately around in which the gears attach, but that could be cleaned which has a squeeze water from your sponge as well as a quick wipe-off. No juice got out every other areas.

Review Green Star Elite 5000 Juicer By john : i’ve had my gs-elite for nearly 21 days and i like it. it performs better to me than the Green Star Elite gs-1000 which i have used for many years.i like while using wooden plunger which is gives me additional sensitivity when feeding things in to the feeding chute.it appears that the gs-elite makes carrot juicing easier than with the Green Star Elite gs-1000.the clean up is quite simple for me and i such as the “snap open and close” new style latching arms in the gs-elite. a lot of the parts rinse off easily following a little while of soaking inside sink and i also use my sink sprayer to ‘squirt directly on to’ and clean the trunk the main juicer body where everything attaches. also i can wash the cover easily within my dishwasher if needed and yes it comes out nice and clean. something personally, i enjoy concerning the gs-elite is the feeding chute cover- assembly may be turned upside down and added to a small towel after being washed in order that it functions as a basket to keep another juicer parts as they are drip drying after being washed inside sink. once i head to use my juicer again they’re looking forward to me nicely dried and ready to assemble. also …the stack of parts (drip drying in the cover basket) looks very neat because it sets on my small kitchen counter.
